Profiled steel sheets are manufactured by cold-roll forming thin galvanized or Al-Zn coated steel sheets. They are categorized into three main types: floor decking (load-bearing), roof panels, and wall panels.

1. Lightweight with High Load-Bearing Capacity

Corrugations enhance sectional rigidity, allowing thinner steel sheets to support significant loads. Compared to concrete slabs, the self-weight is drastically reduced, lowering the load on the primary steel structure's beams and columns; this enables smaller steel component cross-sections and saves on total steel consumption.

2. Shortened Construction Period

Sheets can be laid directly onto steel beams, serving as permanent formwork during construction—eliminating the need for erecting and stripping timber formwork. Rebar tying, stud welding, and concrete pouring can proceed continuously, significantly accelerating the project schedule.

3. Integrated Structural Action (Composite Slabs)

With both open and closed-profile decking, the steel sheet and hardened concrete work together; the sheet acts as both formwork and tensile reinforcement for the slab, reducing the amount of additional rebar required.

Closed-profile decking offers superior fire resistance and negative bending moment performance compared to open-profile decking.

All units are roll-formed in the factory, ensuring high dimensional precision; on-site work is limited to installation and overlapping, minimizing weather-related disruptions.

1. Ease of Installation

Individual panels feature wide coverage, allowing for rapid installation; their light weight facilitates easy hoisting and handling. 2. Multiple Profile Options

Available in open, closed, and re-entrant (narrow-mouth) profiles; roof panels come in high-rib and low-rib designs, while wall panels offer various corrugations, making them suitable for floor slabs, roofing, and exterior wall systems.

3. Utility Integration

Closed-profile floor decking features a flat underside, facilitating ceiling installation and the layout of MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) lines; open-profile decking allows for the routing of utilities within the rib channels.
